Using a stop bath allows you to stop the development process immediately allowing precise control over development times of film and paper. It also helps prolong the working life of your fixer by neutralising the developer and preventing cross contamination of your chemicals. One 500ml bottle of concentrate can make up to 10 litres of working stop bath.
