How to attach wedding number plates
There are two ways you can attach a wedding number plate on top of the legal number plates with our free
fitting kit.
- Clean the front surface of the legal number plate on the car.
Put 3 strips of masking tape on the original plates on the sides and in the middle. (masking tape is not
provided. Can be purchased at any hardware store)
Stick the double-sided sticky pads on top of the masking tape.
Remove the backing of the sticky pads and attach them to the masking tape.
Align the Wedding number plate with the one on the vehicle. Press firmly into positions making sure it
makes good contact with sticky pads.
- You can also stick the wedding number plates straight on top of the original plates using sticky pads.
This can leave glue marks (can be easily removed) on top of your original plates.
The biggest drawback of using this method is that it is impossible to remove the wedding number plate
without damaging it if you want to keep it as a keepsake.
